Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) invited ESGright to address senior officials on the importance of ESG and sustainability reporting towards ensuring Malaysia’s export competitiveness.
Other speakers at the programme included representatives from EU Delegation to Malaysia, Ministry of Economy, KPMG Malaysia and Responsible Business Alliance (RBA).
There was active participation from MATRADE’s senior management, which included MATRADE’s CEO YBhg. Datuk Mohd Mustafa Abdul Aziz as well as both the Deputy CEOs, namely Pn.Sharimahton Mat Saleh, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Export Acceleration and En. Abu Bakar Yusof, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Exporters Development.
ESGright will continue playing its part to support any Government initiative to strengthen the adoption of ESG practices in Malaysia.
