With 19 years’ experience in sustainability, governance, and research, he has worked with a Big 4 firm, U.S. research companies, and government. He specialises in training, audits, and stakeholder engagement.
Dr. Ann Marie, Director at ESGright, specialises in ESG reporting and sustainability. A GRI Certified Professional, ISO 14064 Lead Implementer, and Chartered Accountant (FCA, ICA Ireland, MIA), she advises corporates, trains Boards, and serves on the GHG Protocol Technical Working Group. She’s a former Big 4 professional and academic.
Dr. Mark Lovatt is an internationally recognised expert in corporate governance, anti-corruption, and ESG, advising multinational companies, governments, and regulators. A GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, he is Secretary-General of the Business Integrity Alliance and has a background in IT, energy technology, and business development.
Dr. Chiong, senior lecturer and research fellow at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, specialises in low-footprint technologies for energy and manufacturing. His expertise includes Carbon Footprinting, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and carbon neutrality. He works with Malaysian industries and Japan’s AIST to develop LCI data and assess impacts.
Toh has over 20 years of experience teaching accounting-related subjects as a senior lecturer at a Malaysian private university. He is an accomplished accounting lecturer and sustainability reporting trainer, bringing a wealth of academic and professional expertise to ESGright team. Toh is a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional since 2023, beginning his career with KPMG Malaysia in the Audit and Assurance division. In 2017, he received the CPA Australia Malaysia Divisional President’s Award for Excellence (Service and Leadership) for his outstanding contributions to the community, the accounting profession, and the professional body.
